Gradual Subjects

Postgradual Education

In the framework of postgradual education, our institute is responsible for the communication module of the intern training. We also participate in the PhD programme of the Education Doctoral School of the Faculty of Arts, entitled Health Promotion (Research Into Health Promotion in the School-Age Population).

Extracurricular Activities

As an extracurricular activity, we help the prevention work of the Hungarian Medical Students' Association, thereby also buildind and maintaining a reciprocally beneficial relationship between the university and the city. Mediwell Peer Counseling Group, a student group of our institute, has undertaken the task of tending to medical students' mental health.

Faculty of Dentistry

Within the curriculum of dentistry the rapport, the relationship between the dentist and the patient is of central importance, due to the special nature of dentistry in such terms. Beyond the basic subjects (such as ethics, psychology and anthropology), a special communication training is offered, in which students can practice dealing with patients in a simulated environment.

Faculty of Pharmacy

Pharmacies are important scenes of patient education. The meeting of the pharmacist and the patients, therefore, requires conscious and psychologically well-established behavior on the pharmacist's side. That is why we also offer a subject especially designed to meet the needs of pharmacy students.
